Talent Match Leicestershire reaches its first birthday

As part of my ongoing involvement with Talent Match Leicestershire, I attended our annual review to celebrate our last year and the successful stories that have launched Talent Match Leicestershire.

I went along for many reasons, A) As part of my role on the Youth Board of TM and as support for delivery partner Urchoice Young Peoples Project. B) Because without Talent Match Leicestershire Simon Says wouldnt have launched without the support of the platform TM given me.

Education Minister Nicky Morgan MP also attended the event to see what the Leicestershire team part of the project is doing (Talent Match Leicestershire youth led unemployment programme delivered by The Princes Trust and National Lottery along with several local delivery partners in and around Leicester City and Leicestershire.

The event celebrated and reviews policies and procedures that will contribute as we enter year 2 of the talent match programme.

Highlights included feedback from the youth led evaluation , Community Anchors/Delivery Partners, Youth Board and other interested parties.

I'm proud of the many achievements we've accomplished and hope we reach even bigger ones this year
