Staskiewicz Axed From Seed Creativity

It was been reported that that Seed returnee Simon Staskiewicz who returned to the project in January has officially been dropped from the company following a change in direction for the project. Staskiewicz who is also part of the Talent Match Leiceastershire project has reportedly been dropped due to lack of  commitment for the project.

A spokesperson from Seed  refused to confirm the rumour stating "We don't comment on individual artist who may or may not be involved in the project" A spokesperson from Simon's management confirmed that Simon had left the project stating "Simon and his management team have decided that it is time to move on from Seed and move onto other projects"

The news comes after Simon had been part of the recent Princes Trust 40th anniversary tour and Talent Match Leicestershire's executive committee recent projects in Leicester. Simon is rumoured to be involved in The Music Cafe's upcoming Talent Match showcase which will be filmed at Leicester City Music Project (LCMP) other site The Music Cafe.

A decade later Ross Kemp still likes to surprise us... SimonSaysMedia reflects on Barbara Windsor MBE

In a different style to our normal posting  SimonSays would like to reflect on a much loved soap icon Peggy Mitchell played by Barbara Windsor MBE who will be bowing out to of the role she has played for over 30 years

With the Mitchells in turmoil, Babs Windsor  has decided to bow out of her role as Peggy Mitchell who will be leaving the square one last time but the question remains 'Can Grant save Phil?' The mitchell's have had a difficult few months with Phil's (Steve McFadden) alcholism causing serious liver damage and ending with Liver Cirrhosis and a rumoured Christmas departure. We already know that the upcoming storyline which launched on Friday will be bringing back both Daniella Westbrook who will be playing Sam Mitchell (a role she has played since 1990 on and off but has reprised her role for a brief but short stint for Babs) and more recently after a decade away Ross Kemp returning to says goodye to Peggy (who officially appeared yesterday after recent rumours, sparking the launch of Peggy's Perfect Exit) leaving fans, actors both past and present emotionally torn.

The storyline launched in a strange but still iconic style with Peggy reliving her youth, much to the annoyance of Dot Branning (nee Cotton)played by June Brown  and her going round the sqaure on a milk float and sight-seeing London with her son Phil Mitchell

The scenes which current show runner Dominic Tredwell Collins promises to be "the storyline of the summer" and promises to be a storyline we will never forget

Review of 2015

So the time of year for our second review of the year.

2015 saw us continue to support Talent Match Leicestershire  and form partnership
With UrChoice to launch a new social enterprise project called UrCafe

2015 also saw SimonSaysMedia work on a new music project with Pedestrian and Leicester City Music  Project  for the then development project Introductions but unfortunately funding for the project was subsequently axed and SimonSaysMedia was unable to develop the project.

SimonSaysMedia also was pleased to work with the Prince's Trust on a new disability project showcasing what it mean to live with a hidden disability, SimonSaysMedia will be continuing to support the project in 2016.

Recently it was confirmed that we would be working with Seed Creativity once again on their upcoming product 'The Jobfather'

SimonSaysMedia would like to thank everyone who has supported the project over the past 12 months and hope to continue to be at its best in 2016
