Liz Kendall Denies Labour Leadership Challenge

Liz Kendall Denies Labour Leadership Challenge

Leicester Wet MP Liz Kendall has denied challenging Ed Miliband's seat as leader of the labour party and to be quite honest im saddened. Labour is in trouble at the moment we're 4 months away from May's General Election  and its looks like we're in for more austerity and cuts to vital public services under the current Conservative led "government" and the current lining the rich by abusing the poor is set to continue.

David Cameron has already stated that he feels "the job isn't done yet" although has shied away from public spotlight by not confirming the situation on the upcoming leaders debate. I have already said he will be scared about losing his seat in May and trying to create a smokescreen.

Liz has fought hard for her Leicester West constituents and I had the pleasure of meeting her as part of a trip to westminster as part of my role at urchoice young peoples project (Local community development proj based in Beaumont Leys Leicester Urchoice Young Peoples Project  ) and we chatted about life in politics and how important it is to get involved in the political system.  More on this over on our facebook.

Although Liz has denied she wants to challenge Ed I think a change in leadership wouldn't be a bad thing, Labour is current disengaged with the voters and the wider public because something is desperately wrong  and were in for another coalition (a mix of ConLab or Lib/Green) which imo is scary and involve the complete destruction of the welfare state and lining the pockets of Cameron and his rich elite.
